A quick pic (screen shot, at that) of the culmination of my walk downtown yesterday with mom and a couple of friends. 8.8 km and a very sore back, plus a few dozen photos I’ve yet to sort through.
Among other things, I got to play with my tripod and relearn a few things I had forgotten regarding lighting and exposing for moonlight and urban settings. I also added some bits to my knowledge of circular polarizing filters (turns out they make the pretty lights all but invisible!)
